Did you know...
If the install of your reverse cycle heating and cooling means you no longer need a gas supply (if your replaced gas heating was your only remaining appliance), you will be able to disconnect your gas supply, either through plugging the line or completely decommissioning the meter. The cost for residential gas network disconnection through ActewAGL is $136.90 (as of September 2021) and can be included under the loan. Doing this will also save you about $350 annually as you will no longer need to pay a gas connection charge, so disconnecting is recommended if you will no longer have any gas appliances.

How to Apply
As an approved supplier, Landmark Air can help you with the loan process. The process has four primary steps:
- Check your eligibility as an ACT household, including being under the Unimproved Value (UV) thresholds. You can check the UV of your home on Access Canberra here.
- Attend a free one hour live Everyday Climate Choices online workshop by the ACT Government.
- Get your free quote and advice to see if the system is appropriate for your home.
- Let us know if you are happy with the quote and would like to participate in the Sustainable Household Scheme.
From here, we will start the loan process on your behalf. Brighte, the loan provider, will then contact you to apply for the Sustainable Household Scheme’s 0% interest loan. Once approved we can start the installation process. Once installed, the loan provider will be in contact to confirm installation and fortnightly payments on the loan begin.
